This beautiful 50’s shoulder bag isn’t really made of candy. It’s a fully lined cotton drawstring bag beaded all over with plastic beads and buttons to form a dramatic peacock in the center. This is one special bag! The peacock motif is repeated on both sides of the bag.

It’s a great size, it measures 15.5” wide and 12.5” tall. It’s gusseted and is 5” deep. The handles are about 12” long (forming a 6” circle).

There are several missing beads, and I’m sorry about that. But you can hardly notice it. Maybe a dozen or so are missing out of the hundreds and hundreds of beads . Other than the missing beads, the bag is in excellent condition. Clean and unused looking.

There is no maker’s label inside, just a small tag that says “Made in Hong Kong”.

I’ll bet that everyone who sees you with it will ask where you got that bag, and then you can tell them that there is only one like it!
